Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor of Business or Commerce (Accounting Major) Graduate from a top university.
• Hungry to grow and become a high performing professional accountant.
• No prior experience is necessary for this role; however Australian public practice experience is looked upon favourably.
• Public practice excites you because of the difference you can make to a wide variety of clients across many industries and to our community of businesses.
• Excellent communicator and comfortable engaging with clients and colleagues at all levels.
• Champions the success of clients and colleagues.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting packages such as Xero (highly desirable), MYOB, and QuickBooks.

Role responsibilities

In this exciting role, you’ll build the foundation of a great career and work with a team of professional accountants and business advisors to service a growing client base on all levels of tax and business advisory services.

• Preparation of financial accounts and income tax returns for a range of entities, including identifying tax-sensitive items in profit and loss/balance sheets to trial balance.
• Understanding and ability to prepare tax reconciliations.
• Understanding of various areas of accounting.
• Delivers proactive communication across all levels with clarity and agreed expectations and deliverables.
