Job Description

The Graduate Academic Coach role will be staffed by a recent alum of the MBA program or other members of the community with an MBA or similar degree. The structured weekly commitment consists of up to 19 hours per week.

This is not a remote position. The selected candidate will be required to work on campus.

Responsibilities:

• On-Campus Engagement: 2–4 hours of dedicated, in-person office hours during a designated weekday evening.
• Online Accessibility: 2–4 hours of synchronous virtual coaching sessions to accommodate working professionals.
• Targeted Milestones: A 2-hour, in-person review session open to all students held once every two weeks, to review important or challenging learning objectives of courses.
• Faculty Alignment: Regular coordination with 11-Month MBA faculty to ensure tutoring aligns precisely with current course materials, software applications, and syllabi.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in related field.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Master of Business Administration or
• Master of Science in a business-related field

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.
• Exceptional written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated initiative and follow-through on tasks, communications, and assigned responsibilities.

Hours: Position is not full time; maximum hours per week are 19 hours. Hours of operation for the position are Monday through Friday (no weekends).
