Hydro Aluminium Metal is a leading supplier of extrusion ingots, sheet ingots, foundry alloys, wire rods, and high-purity aluminium, with a global production network of around 6,000 employees. What you will be doing

  • Collaborate closely with our plants and customers to develop innovative casthouse products and alloys, including our flagship low carbon brands Hydro CIRCAL and Hydro REDUXA.
  • You will contribute to a broad range of R&D activities, including planning and executing cutting-edge research projects, developing and testing new alloys and casthouse technologies, and collaborating with customers on joint development initiatives.
  • Presenting results through reports, webinars and presentations.
  • Collaborate with universities, research institutes, and industrial partners to support innovation and development projects.

What will make you successful?

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Metallurgy, Material Science, Nanotechnology, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or similar fields.
  • A maximum of two years of full-time work experience after graduation.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English, with a preference for proficiency in a Scandinavian language.
  • Extracurricular activities and volunteer work will be considered advantageous.

Additional information

Some domestic and international travel should be expected.
