We’re looking for an experienced Grader Operator to join our Gisborne maintenance team. This is a hands-on role where you’ll operate a motor grader to shape, level and maintain road surfaces, shoulders and drainage across rural and urban environments.
You’ll be trusted to work safely, use good judgement and deliver quality work to the required line and level. Some days you’ll be working independently out in the field. Other days you’ll be teaming up with other crews across our maintenance division. Either way, you’ll be part of a down-to-earth team doing good work that keeps local roads safe and serviceable.

At Fulton Hogan, Good Work is what we do and how we do it. We’re flat, friendly and forward moving. Titles matter less than ideas, and we back our people to get stuck in, take ownership and keep finding better ways to do things.
We do serious work that matters to our communities, but we don’t make ourselves the centre of attention. If you want to be part of a team that sets high standards, looks out for each other and gets a real kick out of delivering for the region, you’ll fit right in.
All successful candidates must undergo and pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen prior to employment.
