We are hiring a Grader Operator, and this is your chance to turn your workday into a journey. As part of our crews, you’ll travel across the province—working in communities big and small, from lakeside towns and scenic rural routes to vibrant cities and northern landscapes If you enjoy variety, new surroundings, and the excitement of seeing parts of Ontario many people never get to experience, this is a fantastic opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a grader to complete gravel operations and fine grading safely and efficiently
  • Perform daily equipment inspections, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs (e.g., fueling, greasing, lubricating, cleaning)
  • Complete equipment logs, maintenance records, and circle checks accurately
  • Communicate effectively using radios and work collaboratively with crew members
  • Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies and applicable OHSA regulations
  • Support overall site operations as needed to meet project requirements
  • Travel for extended periods across Ontario

Requirements

  • Experience operating a grader is strongly preferred
  • Alternatively, demonstrated mechanical aptitude and/or experience in paving, construction, or heavy equipment operation
  • Valid Class G driver’s licence with acceptable driver’s abstract
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively across Ontario and stay away from home for extended periods
  • Ability to work long hours, including weekends, in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Strong attention to detail, safety focus, and problem-solving ability
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively within a crew

Compensation

$31.50 - $37.96 per hour
