Salary/Position Classification

• $15/hour undergrad, $17/hour grad student, hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 5-8 hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: No
• Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Grade ENGR 202 (Dynamics) homework using provided solutions from instructor.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Evaluate student homework submissions using designated solutions
• Identify and highlight instances of academic integrity breaches within homework assignments
• Precisely record homework assessments within the Blackboard gradebook
• Ensure expedited turnaround for homework evaluations, adhering to a 2-3 day timeline (homework submitted on Mondays will be graded by Thursdays, while submissions on Thursdays will be assessed by Sundays)
• Continuation of employment throughout the standard academic term contingent upon demonstrated proficiency and excellence in performance

Required Competencies

• Demonstrated capability to comprehend and analyze various problem-solving methodologies
• Able to read and interpret multiple problem-solving strategies

Minimum Requirements

• Attainment of "B" grade in Statics and Dynamics at University of North Dakota
  • Junior or senior status within Civil or Mechanical Engineering program at the University of North Dakota
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
