An exciting opportunity exists for a Grade 2 Occupational Therapist to join the Occupational Therapy team at Alfred Care Group. The successful applicant will apply their knowledge, skill and expertise to deliver excellent clinical service to a range of diagnostics groups within a General Medicine caseload. Working closely and collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to contribute to patient centred comprehensive care, they will be responsible for:
Grade 2 clinicians have an important role in leading various teaching/training and quality improvement activities across the Occupational Therapy Service, and will be responsible for the supervision and mentoring of junior Occupational Therapy staff, Allied Health Assistants and/or undergraduate students. They will be well supported by an experienced Grade 3 senior Occupational Therapist including regular supervision and access to professional development opportunities. This position includes one week shift per month to support service delivery and progression of care across a 7-day service.
