General Summary of the Position:

The Graduate, Online & Professional Studies team is seeking a part-time Support Specialist. This role is vital to supporting the needs of both the Graduate & Undergraduate admissions, recruitment, advising, and student services teams through various administrative tasks, customer service, and student support. A strong desire to provide top-tier customer service is a must.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to; answering phone calls & emails inquiries to assist prospective and current students, multitasking in multiple systems, including a CRM, a broad understanding of our application requirements and University policies, and the ability to work independently, within a team, and cross functionally.

Minimum Qualifications (Required):

  • HS diploma or GED/equivalent required
  • Background in customer service or office support
  • Preference to those with previous higher education customer service experience
  • Must be proficient in MS office

This is a fully on-campus, part-time, 18 hours per week, temporary, non-benefited, non-union position in Lowell, MA.

The GPS office is open from 8:30am-5pm, M-F. The ideal candidate will be available to work at least one afternoon, 11am-5pm each week and have flexible availability. Typical schedule is 3 days a week totaling 18 hours.
