The Space Control andAwarenessDepartment (SCAD) is seeking a new team member to supportGPSmissionoperations andanalysesSCADperforms concept development, systems engineering, architecture analysis, algorithmdevelopmentand evaluation support for national security space customers emphasizingspace domain awareness (SDA), Radar, Electro-Optical (EO) and Infrared (IR) sensors,Position Navigation and Timing (PNT),orbit determination,and space protection and security.
TheGPS Operations and Space Domain Awareness Analystwill providesupport and analysis to GPS operations,algorithm development, and modeling and simulation for space protectionand space domainawareness Candidatewill interact directly with government customersand contractor teams,as well as Aerospace program office personnel in the Colorado Springs areaand collaborate closely with Engineering and Technology Group (ETG) and program office personnel in El Segundo, CA, Chantilly, VA, and other locations.

WhatYou’llBe Doing
Provide GPS Operationssupporttoteamslocatedat Schriever SFB.
PNT,astrodynamic analytical support, algorithm development, and modeling and simulation analysis forGPS andspace surveillance systems and missions.
Conduct a range of analysis using a framework of modeling, simulation and analysis capabilities including in-house, custom and commercially available/government provided modeling tools
Application of modeling and simulation for mission operations
Provide independent assessments and lead studies with teams of analysts
What you need to beasuccessfulGPS Operations and Space Domain Awareness Analyst
MinimumRequirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or another related technical discipline
Experience withGPS, PNT,SDA,orspace control mission areas
Experience in modeling, simulation, analysis, and/or algorithm development
Experience in at leastonethe following programming languages; Java, C++, Python, MATLAB, C, or FORTRAN.
Good interpersonal communication and briefing skills along with the ability to work independently and interact effectively with high-level government, Aerospace, and contractor personnel.
This position requires the ability to obtain andmaintaina security clearance, which is issued by the U.S. government. U.S. citizenship isrequiredto obtain a security clearance.

Advanced technical degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, or another related technical discipline
CurrentSECRET orTS/SCI clearance.
Strong background inGPS operations
Strong background in astrodynamicsanalysisor estimation
Experience with satellite subsystems or flight software
Operational experience as an orbit analyst, space control operator, battle manager in the air,spaceor missile domains
Experience with space surveillance network sensor operations, or other SOSI network sensor operations

Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
