Key Role & Responsibility :

Responsibilities Local Project Manager

  • Lead and mange ERP implementation ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, milestones and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and best practises.
  • Align with local and global project and program teams.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Secure change management activities.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Foster a strong collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with IT, finance, operations and external vendors.

As a Local Project manager

  • Plan and organize the project structure, including the communication plan, pre-study scope, and workshop timelines.
  • Develop and maintain weekly schedules for all project phases
  • Monitor progress across all project tracks, proactively identify risks, and remove impediments to ensure smooth execution.
  • Ensure accurate and consistent documentation using OneERP templates.
  • Align project activities and decisions with the OneERP Project Manager and Steering Committee (SteCo).
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Ensure performance of key users to secure timely deliveries.
  • Plan training of key users and end users.
  • Provide regular status and progress reports to the OneERP Project Manager, GPHE, and WCT Operations.
  • Plan, schedule, and book meetings and workshops beyond the standard weekly agenda as needed.
  • Facilitate productive meetings and workshops to drive project objectives forward.

As a Local Project Manager after Go Live

  • Identify and communicate open issues to the OneERP team for resolution.
  • Participate in lessons learned sessions to support continuous improvement.
  • Handover responsibilities to the live site governance organization and ERP Officer.

Skills

  • Communication & Collaboration Skills:
    • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables under tight deadlines.
    • Demonstrated experience in cross-functional collaboration.
    • Skilled at communicating effectively across all organizational levels within a global company.
    • Experienced in facilitating cross-functional meetings and workshops.
  • Leadership & Influence
    • Demonstrated ability to motivate, guide, structure, and delegate work effectively within teams.
    • Proven experience in leading, training, and mentoring team members.
    • Acts as a positive advocate for D365, influencing colleagues, supporting problem analysis, and proposing effective solutions.
  • Technical Proficiency
    • Strong proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and MS Teams.
    • Preferably experienced with ERP systems (especially MS D365) and a solid understanding of general IT landscapes.
  • Attention to detail-
    • Ability to understand complex issues at a high level and distinguish between tasks to prioritize actions effectively.
    • Quickly adapts to local and global organizational structures, processes, and IT components within the legal entity and relevant business units.
  • Program Management
    • Experience with medium to large-scale program implementations is preferred.
  • Problem-Solving:
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions.
  • Change Management
    • Demonstrated experience in driving and managing organizational change related to IT transformation, with a focus on minimizing resistance and maximizing adoption.

Experience

  • Extensive experience in project management of global projects.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP implementations.
  • Strong background in managing business transformation projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain processes.

Education

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • PMP or Prince2 certification preferred.
  • Experience with ERP implementation and/or MS D365 Operations & Finance is an advantage.

Physical & Environmental Factors
Office environment with frequent attendance on the shop floor. Safety equipment required when present on the shop floor – footwear, hearing, eyewear.
Environmental Factors (hazardous materials, work location, work surfaces, exposure).
