Whatyou’llbring to the team
Required qualifications
An undergraduate degree in agricultural finance, business, commerce,social sciences,or a related field
A minimum of five years of experience in government relations, agriculture industry engagement, or related stakeholder‑focused roles
Expertisein stakeholder relations and a strong understanding of government and parliamentary processes and policies
Extensive knowledge of the agriculture industry, including key influencers, challenges, and opportunities
In‑depth understanding of political factors that influence agriculture and food policy in Canada
Preferred qualifications
Experience supporting risk‑management or issue‑management initiatives related to public policy or industry trends
Experience preparing briefing materials for senior leadership or boards
Experience leading or coordinating government relations programs or stakeholder engagement initiatives
Bilingualism (French and English)
