THIS IS NOT A TELEWORK POSITION. CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK IN A PHYSICAL DCF OFFICE.
Location is open Statewide. The position location will be based on the selected candidate.
Some travel will be required.
This is a full-time Career Service position, working 40 hours per week.
Regular business hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm EST, Monday to Friday.
Salary to be determined, based on experience, $50,000 min to $52,000 max.
If selected for hire, current DCF employees will be compensated in accordance with the DCF salary policy.

This is a responsible professional position in the Headquarters’ Policy Unit of the Economic Self Sufficiency (ESS) Program Office.
This position must maintain a thorough knowledge of the Medicaid program and Medicaid Eligibility by reviewing federal administrative policies, procedures, guidelines, and directives related, and a solid working knowledge of other government assistance programs administered by the Department of Children and Families (DCF). This position assists in the evaluation and assessment of proposed changes to eligibility and operations; identifying potential problems, and recommending appropriate actions necessary to prepare administrative rules, state plans, legislation, and policy materials; including Medicaid policy transmittals, clearances, clarifications, and training.
