What you will do:

In this role, you will be responsible for processing religious exemptions and home registration applications throughout the state. You will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while assisting providers in navigating the application process. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to analyze and resolve issues, and effective communication with stakeholders across Florida. You will also play a key role in maintaining accurate records and providing guidance to providers to ensure compliance with state policies.

Process and review religious exemptions and home registration applications in accordance with state regulations.Maintain a strong understanding of regulatory requirements to ensure accuracy and compliance.Navigate complex situations, analyze issues, and provide clear, concise documentation and guidanceCommunicate and collaborate with providers across the state of Florida to address inquiries and ensure a smooth application process.Maintain organized records and track application progress to support efficiency and transparencyCollaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve application discrepancies or compliance concerns.Participate in training sessions and meetings to stay updated on regulatory changes and best practices.Assist with data entry, reporting, and generating summaries for internal and external use.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to assess and resolve issues effectively.Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to navigate and interpret regulatory requirements.Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping.Customer service skills to engage with providers and other stakeholders professionally.Ability to work independently while also collaborating with team members.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database management systems.
Work Experience Requirements:

1–2 years of experience in childcare, child care licensing, early childhood education, or related field preferred.

Bilingual ( English/Spanish) required.

Software Proficiency:
