RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Home care and Community care. We are hiring a Governance, Risk & Compliance Officer for our Nursing Home in Co Cork Responsibilities Lead the group-wide risk management framework and provide reports to senior leadership and the Board. Ensure regulatory compliance, overseeing HIQA inspections, statutory notifications and new centre registrations. Fulfil the role of the group’s Data Protection Officer. Oversee health and safety, child and adult safeguarding, and protected disclosure processes across the organisation. Manage the annual audit programme and maintain the group’s policies and procedures. Provide guidance, training and ongoing support to managers and staff across all centres. Requirements At least 5 years of experience in governance, risk management, compliance or legal roles, preferably within a multi-site or regulated organisation. A degree or professional qualification in law, governance, risk management, health and safety, healthcare or nursing. Strong understanding of GDPR requirements and Irish health and safety legislation. Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and manage effective risk management frameworks. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the confidence to present reports to the Board and constructively challenge senior management when necessary. A full, clean driving licence. Previous experience in a HIQA-regulated or healthcare environment would be highly beneficial.
