The Governance & Reporting Leadis responsible forimplementing,maintainingand continuously improving a robust enterprise-wide governance and reporting structure in SPT. They will lead the standup and implementation of arobustgovernance framework across the business and will lead a team that will developa reporting framework that delivers business insight and supports decision making.

The Governance & Reporting Lead will be working in conjunction with several multi-disciplined PMO teams and will serve as the lead consolidator on all governance and reporting aspects including preparation,interrogationand consolidation of reporting packs across multiple business forums. They will support the SPT business interface with key stakeholders, including the SPT Executive Team, Network Policy & Regulation (NP&R)and Control, ensuring proactive visibility of all reporting needs.

Whatyou’llbe doing

As Governance & Reporting Lead, you willbe responsible forestablishingand managing the governance and reporting framework across SP Transmission, ensuring clear oversight of business performance. You will own the governance calendar, reporting standards and key performance dashboards, deliveringtimely,accurateand insightful reporting that supports effective decision-making across the organisation.

Working closely with stakeholders across portfolios and functions, you will define reporting requirements, oversee monthly,quarterlyand annual reporting cycles, and ensure governance processes are consistently applied. You will also play a key role in regulatory reporting, helping to provide a complete and transparent view of business performance and delivery.

You will drive improvements in data quality & data models, reporting accuracy and performance transparency by challenging project data,identifyingtrends and highlighting risks and issues that couldimpactdelivery. Leading the review and assurance of reporting outputs, you will champion continuous improvement and lessons learned to enhance the effectiveness of the Enterprise Performance & Planning function.

Whatyou’llbring

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in commercial/business subject such as project management.

  • Prior experience of a governance & reporting role in a regulatory capacity or other related field.

  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to negotiate/influence.

  • Expertisein reporting and data analysis, withproficiencyacross a variety of applications and platforms (e.g.PowerBI, MS Office).

  • Ability to review and scrutinise integrated data models developed by analysts to feed into enterprise-wide reporting dashboards and files.

  • Ability to work with limited supervision and to interact across all levels of management and executive.

  • Ability to design new process and governance, while supporting implementation of these across a business unit.

  • Understanding and knowledge of energy markets and the regulatory drivers affecting operation of a Transmission Network.

  • Excellent presentation skills, with experience in dealing with directors, seniormanagementand external bodies.

  • Ability to effectively lead teams and work in cross functional teams.

  • Exceptionally proactive nature, with the ability to innovate and challenge in recognition and support of the business model in which SPT isoperating
