How you’ll play your part
We’re looking for someone highly motivated and proactive, who expertly understands Consumer Duty, and brings experience in governance, oversight or conduct risk environments, with the drive to continuously improve and challenge the status quo.
In this role, you’ll ensure MBUK consistently delivers on its Regulatory Outsourcing commitments to MBFS by governing, quality controlling and continuously improving First Line of Defence (1LOD) oversight, MI and outcomes taking all reasonable steps to protect customers from foreseeable harm. You’ll be proactively identifying risks and strengthening delivery to protect customers and exceed 2LOD expectations.
You’ll bring strong governance judgement, analytical capability and confidence operating within an outsourced model, with the ability to challenge and enhance delivery, and represent MBUK with credibility in MBFS governance forums.
What you’ll do:
· Prepare high-quality Consumer Duty review presentations by analysing post-sale data, identifying trends and risks, and shaping evidence-based challenge to support Retail Sales Mana
· Own governance of outsourced Retail Oversight delivery, ensuring MBUK consistently meets or exceeds Regulatory Outsourcing SLAs with MBFSger delivery
· Govern and continuously improve oversight frameworks, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and operational effectiveness
· Own and evolve Management Information, turning data into clear insight on post-sale outcomes, emerging risks, and stakeholder reporting
What you’ll bring:
· Experience within first-line governance, oversight, conduct risk or outsourced delivery environments
· Strong analytical capability, turning post-sale data into insights and identifying key trends or risks
· Detail-focused, ensuring high-quality Consumer Duty reviews, MI and governance outputs
· Able to shape agendas, challenge constructively and strengthen stakeholder delivery
· Skilled at translating complex data into clear, actionable insight for senior audiences
· Influential collaborator, driving outcomes without direct authority
· Clear, confident communicator with credibility at senior level and a strong “doing the right thing” mindset
