As a member of our team, you will be responsible for business process management and improvement, auditing, reporting and analysing business processes for continuous enhancement. This includes the review, implementation, and auditing of business processes. Additionally, the role involves analysing and documenting architectural standards, ensuring adherence to established frameworks, and assisting in the execution of governance processes. Provides support to stakeholders engaged in EA-related projects. Train and report to business and external authority bodies on governance around POPIA, FICA, PRECCA and data governance laws. Wholl you report to: Youll be based within our Enterprise Risk and Innovation division at our head office in Sandton, Johannesburg, and youll report to the Manager: Enterprise Architecture Governance, who is accountable for the Enterprise Architecture Governance functions.

Your Outputs (include but is not limited to):

  • Maintain Company's standards and governance in policy and framework reviews.
  • Audit business processes, user privileges, security, operational manuals, and approved data checks to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to governance standards.
  • Support tracking and reporting of architectural compliance in projects and initiatives.
  • Liaise with business owners and analysts to improve processes and provide input on standards, rules, and regulations.
  • Prepare governance report, review and obtain approvals for submission.
  • Manage databases, repositories, processes and documentation related to architecture governance.
  • Assist in implementing architecture tools and frameworks while ensuring decisions comply with industry standards.
  • Identify gaps in governance processes and recommend improvements.
  • Provide advice on architecture principles and best practices for projects related to governance.
  • Develop and review training materials and design programs for governance-related needs.
  • Act as the key contact for enterprise architecture governance, offering guidance and mentoring junior analysts.
  • Analyse data and compile report

Knowledge and Skills

Your Qualifications and experience

  • Matric with Mathematics
  • Microsoft office
  • Relevant bachelor's degree or 3-year Diploma
  • LLB or Legal and/or Compliance
  • 2-5 years' experience in this discipline. Basic experience in governance in process and data analysis. Basic understanding of Insurance industry and regulatory practices.

R25 k plus company benefits excluding a 12.5% bi-annual incentive.
