ABOUT THIS JOB
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Google Cloud Platform Data Architect to join our dynamic team. As a GCP Data Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing robust cloud architectures on Google Cloud Platform, integrating data solutions, and ensuring data integrity and reliability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business requirements into technical solutions and collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Scientists teams.
All the responsibilities we will trust you with:
Cloud Architecture
- Design and implement robust cloud architectures on Google Cloud Platform, ensuring alignment with business requirements for scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions seamlessly into the GCP environment.
Cloud Services Expertise
- Demonstrate proficiency in Google Cloud Platform services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery.
- Design cloud automation, CICD, Privacy, Access Management, Data Layers, and orchestration.
Data Architecture and Modeling
- Develop Conceptual, Logical, and Physical data models, showcasing expertise in domain-driven design patterns.
- Utilize Data Vault 2.0, 3NF, and Dimensional modeling methodologies, with proficiency in data modeling tools such as Erwin and Innovator.
Big Data Technologies
- Showcase strong technical skills in Big Data technologies and languages, including Kafka, Spark, HIVE, Python, etc.
- Leverage hands-on experience with Cloudera/Hortonworks and related ecosystem components in architecture design.
Data Analysis and Governance
- Conduct Data Analysis, Data Profiling, and implement Data Governance solutions.
- Develop data quality frameworks to ensure the integrity and reliability of the data.
All the achievements you are proud of:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Data Architecture, Solution Design, and Data Modeling.
- Hands-on experience designing data solutions, preferably on Google Cloud Platform, with exposure to AWS and Azure clouds.
- Strong technical skills in Cloud technologies: Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, and BigQuery.
- Strong technical skills in Big Data technologies and languages: Kafka, Spark, HIVE, Python, etc.
- Experience in designing solutions and frameworks for cloud infrastructure and data pipelines.
- Experience in Data Analysis, Data Profiling, Data Governance solutions, and creating data quality frameworks.
- Experience with Data Vault 2.0 modeling, 3NF, and Dimensional modeling methodologies.
- Collaboration experience with Data Engineering and Data Scientists teams.
- Experience level: 3 + years.
