Job Description

We are looking for a new team member for the new JYSK distribution center in Italy.

To ensure accurate receiving, registration, identification, handling and storage of goods in accordance with JYSK operational standards, while maintaining high quality, productivity and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate counting of received items and correct labelling of load carriers.
• Ensure labels are correctly placed according to item identification and quantity on each load carrier.
• Create and apply correct storage and replenishment strategies in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Measure dimensions and weight of goods and accurately register the information in the system.
• Perform inventory counts when required and upon instruction from the immediate manager.
• Report irregularities identified during unloading of trucks and containers.
• Take photographs of problematic deliveries when required and provide them to the office for further investigation and processing.
• Cooperate closely with the Quality department regarding damaged packaging, incorrect items, incorrect barcodes and other quality deviations.
• Work across all Warehouse Operations departments within Distribution Centre Bozhurishte when required.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working area at all times.
• Take personal responsibility for leaving all equipment clean, tidy and undamaged after use.
• Inform the immediate manager about operational issues, deviations or difficulties affecting the work.
• Notify management immediately in case of absence due to illness.
• Support colleagues and replace absent employees when operationally required.
• Comply with the Internal Labour Rules and all company policies and procedures.
• Follow all Health & Safety, fire prevention, hygiene and environmental requirements.
• Wear company workwear and personal protective equipment (PPE) were required and maintain a professional appearance.
• Participate in training and development activities organised by the company.

Qualifications

• High school/ secondary education.
• Previous warehouse and goods handling experience is considered an advantage.
• Experience operating low-lift and high-lift warehouse equipment is an advantage.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Ability to work with warehouse systems and software.
• Ability to use standard office equipment.
• Intermediate English (spoken and written).
