The outside services attendant is responsible for ensuring exceptional, first-class service for our members and guests. Outside Service Team Members must give a positive first impression of the golf course as well as contribute to maintaining a functional course through guest assistance, cleaning of golf carts, and other appointed tasks.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Assist with the overall upkeep of the cart staging and cart storage areas.
• Assist in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings.
• Provide sincere and courteous service, including bag handling and club cleaning for all guests and members.
• Maintain the cart staging area in a neat and orderly fashion, including the podium and bag drop area.
• Maintain the cart storage area and cart wash down area in a neat, clean, and orderly condition.
• Prepares golf carts for play following the company standards.
• Assists in educating players regarding course policy, current cart policy and speed of play.
• Maintain accurate records of golfers who rent clubs and clean rental clubs upon return.
• Assist with food and beverage activities.
• Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.
• Maintain flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the department manager.
• May direct the start of play.
• Attends staff meetings.

Qualifications: Skills/Abilities

• Ability to apply basic mathematical skills.
• Must possess good verbal and written skills.

Education/Experience

• High School or equivalent education required.
• One-month related experience as an Outside Services Attendant or training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Flexibility to work holidays weekends.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to physically reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work under variable temperature conditions (extreme heat or cold, indoors/outdoors).
• Ability to constant activity, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
• Ability to handle physical activity and stand for long periods.
• Must be able to occasionally work in areas with moving mechanical parts; may come in contact with fumes or airborne particles.
