At Nevada Gold Mines (NGM), our vision is to be the world’s most valued gold mining business by finding, developing, and operating the best assets with the best people. We are looking for a motivated Autoclave Maintenance Technician to join the Process Maintenance team at our Goldstrike operation.

The Autoclave Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing safe and efficient maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical equipment within the Autoclave area of the processing facility.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures and promote a strong safety culture.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on Autoclave and associated processing equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform corrective maintenance on pumps, valves, piping, agitators, conveyors, and related plant equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Complete work orders and documentation in the maintenance management system.
• Assist with plant shutdowns, planned maintenance, and equipment rebuilds.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical training in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Maintenance, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience working in an industrial, mining, or processing plant environment preferred.
• Knowledge of pumps, valves, hydraulics, and rotating equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment.
