Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary
Supporting the Production Equipment Coordinator, this role will focus on the maintenance of equipment provided by The Goldroom.

Responsibilities
  • Learn what each production package contains and assist with resetting packages between uses.
  • Assist other student workers who have questions about package contents.
  • Help perform regular maintenance on all equipment (including cleaning).
  • Re-barcode equipment, as needed.
  • Create repair tickets for items reported as malfunctioning or damaged.
  • Pull equipment for and monitor “Tech Tuesday” appointments.
  • Other projects as assigned by the Production Equipment Coordinator.

Required Qualifications
No previous experience required! We will train you, regardless of major.

Desired Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of camera, lighting, grip, and audio equipment.
  • Unafraid to ask questions.
  • Preferred availability of two 4-hour windows each week. (Our hours are Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm)
