
Location: APW Warehouse
Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Compensation: $20.00–$22.00 per hour (DOE)
The Receiving Agent serves as the primary point of contact for incoming deliveries at the APW warehouse. This role is responsible for receiving, organizing, and processing incoming inventory while ensuring compliance with company procedures and cannabis regulations.
Working closely with the Warehouse Manager, the Receiving Agent supports inventory intake, product builds, warehouse operations, packaging, labeling, and other operational functions to maintain efficient daily workflows. This position requires strong technical abilities, organizational skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Inventory Receiving, Mapping & Compliance
· Serve as the primary receiving agent at the warehouse intake station.
· Receive, inspect, verify, and organize deliveries from internal drivers, cannabis vendors, third-party suppliers, and packaging vendors.
· Ensure incoming inventory is received in accordance with company SOPs and compliance requirements.
· Organize, track, and distribute delivery invoices to the appropriate departments.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant receiving area.
· Create finished goods items in the POS system using vendor invoices and intake information.
· Map incoming inventory to the correct Finished Goods (FG) POS items.
· Support METRC inventory activities, including tag creation, tag assignments, inventory breakdowns, and inventory adjustments.
· Assist with inventory audits, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation to maintain accuracy.
Warehouse Operations Support
· Assist the Warehouse Manager/ teams with daily operational tasks, including but not limited to inventory management, audits, and data entry, label creation, packaging, etc.
· Coordinate the movement of incoming inventory throughout the warehouse.
· Maintain project management tools, task trackers, and documentation.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency.
· Demonstrate initiative by helping solve operational challenges and supporting coworkers.
· Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Required
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Cannabis POS Software, excel, Project Management Tools
· Experienced in product builds, data entry, SKU management, invoice processing.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
· Professional communication skills.
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical warehouse duties.
· Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Preferred
· Strong technological aptitude, including proficiency with computers and the ability to quickly learn new software platforms, business systems, and digital tools.
· Comfortable working across multiple technology platforms simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
· Warehouse receiving, inventory, or logistics experience.
· Cannabis industry experience & METRC experience.
· Inventory intake and POS inventory mapping experience.
· Label creation and printing experience.
· Inventory audit or cycle count experience.
Technology & Systems Experience
The Receiving Agent should be comfortable learning and utilizing a variety of business systems, including:
· Inventory management & POS Systems (Dutchie, SWEED, METRC, etc.)
· Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
· Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
· Project management and task tracking software (Click Up, Asana, etc)
· Cloud-based file storage and collaboration platforms
Schedule
· Full-Time (40 hours/week)
· Schedule may vary based on business needs, including occasional overtime.
