Job Description

Job Title: Go-to-Market Operations Manager

Department: Marketing

Reporting to: Director of Go-to-Market Operations & Analytics

Location: Remote

Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Greenfield Global is looking for a Go-to-Market (G2M) Operations Manager to lead connected marketing and sales operations. This role will be a trusted partner to commercial leadership and a key decision maker in how Greenfield Global goes to market. The G2M Manager owns the technology, processes, and playbooks that make marketers and sellers successful in delivering results that help our customers meet their goals.

This role will help build a new function within a 35 year old company rich with history, culture and deep values. This role requires an individual who is comfortable in a startup environment, who is comfortable and excited about growing and driving change while playing a critical role in an exciting digital transformation.

Who We Are:

Greenfield Global is a leading producer and supplier of high-value, mission-critical raw materials, ingredients, and additives that are vital to businesses and integral to a lower-carbon economy. From start-ups to the largest brands in the world, customers trust Greenfield’s extensive portfolio of premium products, regulatory expertise, and industry-leading service to improve people’s lives and the health of the planet.

We own and operate five distilleries, four specialty chemical manufacturing and packaging plants, and three next-generation biofuel and renewable energy R&D centers. This integrated model enhances supply chain transparency, quality control, custom formulation development, and ultimately customer satisfaction.

Why Join Greenfield?

We innovate, collaborate, and work with purpose. By unlocking the potential of people, partnerships, and nature to accelerate sustainable solutions for the health of the planet, our work has a positive impact on the environment around the world. We’re always looking for people who can bring new talents and experience to our team.

Who You Are

  • A credible partner to sales leadership: brings a clear point of view and the operating experience in D365 CE to back it, earning a seat in planning conversations rather than waiting for requests.
  • Proactive by default: spots funnel and process problems early and brings solutions before they escalate.
  • A process builder at heart: brings discipline to documentation and enablement, leaving behind playbooks and standards clear enough that both new and tenured sellers rely on them.
  • Intellectually curious: understands business context before building, enjoys cross-functional partnership, and gains consensus.
  • A natural educator: leads with empathy, bringing clarity to complex analytics across technical and non-technical audiences.

Your Experience Should Include:

Funnel Ownership

  • Experience designing pipeline stages, funnel definitions, and lead scoring directly with sellers, including ownership of a marketing-to-sales handoff (routing, scoring logic, and follow-up standards).

Campaign & Commercial Tooling

  • 3-5 years in a sales/revenue operations role on a team running D365 Customer Engagement (CE) Sales, with working knowledge of its back-end architecture and customization capabilities
  • Experience with modern GTM and selling tools such as Salesloft, ZoomInfo, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and authoring sales process documentation that sellers actually use
  • Hands-on experience with the Power Platform (Dataverse, Power Automate, Power BI) and familiarity with Microsoft/D365 agentic AI capabilities for sales

Commercial Analytics Partnership

  • Experience defining pipeline and funnel metrics with finance and analytics teams, and understanding of how CRM stage data supports forecasting

Commercial Leadership Partnership

  • Experience translating company strategy and sales growth goals directly into operational execution across process, systems & fields, and definitions
  • Experience operating in dynamic or start-up environments, driving cross-department collaboration and change management across teams in transition
  • Proven experience partnering with and presenting to senior sales and marketing leadership

Job Responsibilities

Funnel Ownership

  • Own a single taxonomy connecting marketing campaigns to sales plays, so one naming and category structure carries from GTM strategy through to seller execution
  • Own lead scoring and routing models, including thresholds, criteria, assignment logic, and the follow-up standard sellers are held to
  • Own the sales funnel: work directly with sellers to define and maintain stage definitions, entry and exit criteria, and the conversion measures that describe how leads become orders

Campaign & Commercial Tooling

  • Design sales cadences and sequences that carry a connected campaign strategy from marketing through sales to revenue, so every GTM launch has a seller-ready play behind it
  • Partner with IT development and BSA teams to translate sales requirements into CRM process and field changes that drive growth and accuracy
  • Own sales process documentation and playbooks end-to-end, keeping them the current, usable reference for how sales operates
  • Continuously assess the marketing and sales tool stack for seller effectiveness; evaluate new tooling extending the foundational D365 toolset

Commercial Analytics Partnership

  • Partner with sales leadership, commercial analytics, finance, and data governance to define pipeline, funnel and sales activity metrics that measure realistically and accurately, and establish the always-on reporting sales leadership can rely on
  • Partner with finance leads to define pipeline confidence criteria and how stages map to forecast

Commercial Leadership Partnership

  • Act as a strategic, day-to-day partner to sales and marketing leadership on process, productivity, and go-to-market execution
  • Proactively surface funnel and process problems and keeping both teams aligned on active pipeline and initiatives

Total Compensation & Care:

  • Base salary dependent on experience and demonstrated performance
  • Formal and informal training opportunities
  • Comprehensive health and dental benefits
  • Income protection: short- and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, paid personal sick time
  • Vacation time exceeding industry standards
  • Company funded retirement savings program with individual contribution opportunities
  • Meaningful and challenging work
  • Curated intentional culture focused on growth and development, engagement, and communication
