The Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of projects related to the building's technical systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), electrical, and building inspection systems. The incumbent also oversees forklift maintenance, research and development activities, as well as relations with subcontractors. He/She ensures the coordination, planning and efficient execution of projects within deadlines, budgets and specifications.
Responsibilities:
· Plan, organize, and manage all aspects of projects related to building technical systems, including:
o Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems
o Electrical systems
o Building Inspection and Assessment
· Oversee the preventive and corrective maintenance of the company's forklifts.
· Conduct research and development activities to identify new technologies and innovative solutions in the technical fields of building.
· Establish and maintain close relationships with third-party subcontractors, including suppliers, contractors, and technical experts.
· Ensure regular follow-up of projects, identify and resolve issues, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
· Ensure that budgets, deadlines and quality standards are met for all projects.
· Provide detailed progress reports and business cases.
· Participate in the training and professional development of technical teams.
· Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and practices.
Qualifications and skills required
· Engineering degree or equivalent training in a technical building field (mechanical, electrical, civil engineering, etc.)
· Minimum 5 years of successful experience in the management of complex technical projects in the construction sector.
· Strong technical knowledge in the areas of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical and building inspection.
· Mastery of project management tools and methodologies (planning, monitoring, control, etc.).
· Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
· Rigor, sense of organization and attention to detail.
