We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the Premier Banking team.

GM IT Production Support & Automation Delivery Manager (GCB 5: 53443647)

Role purpose

Locally accountable for improving efficiency through automation, ensuring stable production support and audit readiness, and delivering local change for India Global Markets Technology across INM and GIFT City (Local Regulatory, Local vendor and Group applications), with regular in-person engagement with Front Office, Operations, Product Control and Traded Risk.

Key accountabilities (in priority order)

  1. Production support + Audit support (~50%)
  • First point of contact for application support; own incident, problem and change management and timely escalation of major issues.
  • Drive root-cause analysis and remediation to reduce repeat incidents; monitor service health, inventory and KPIs
  • Support Regulatory/Group audits and mandatory requests by sourcing/validating submissions and maintaining strong evidence/traceability (approvals, artefacts, documentation).
  • Coordinate with SMEs/vendors/Group teams and support ITSO/Delegate ITSO activities where required (e.g., vulnerability/patching coordination, security tracking, BCP/DR readiness).
  1. Innovation and Automation of manual processes (~25%)
  • Identify and prioritise recurring manual activities across support, reporting and evidence collation.
  • Build and maintain automations and dashboards using Power Platform/Python/AI Platform etc to improve turnaround time, transparency and control.
  1. Project delivery (CTB) (balance)
  • Deliver local change from initiation to hypercare: scope, plan, milestones, dependencies, RAID, release readiness, cutover and communications.
  • Ensure implementations meet required security, resilience and regulatory standards with appropriate governance and reporting.

Requirements

  • Experience in RTB production support (incident/problem/change), ideally in Global Markets or regulated banking
  • Strong ITIL/service management discipline, major incident handling and KPI reporting
  • Proven automation delivery (Power Platform/Python/workflows) to remove manual effort
  • Solid audit/regulatory evidence management (traceability, approvals, artefacts, submissions)
  • End-to-end change/project delivery (plan, RAID, governance, release readiness, cutover, hypercare)
  • Working knowledge of security & resilience (vulnerability/patching coordination, access controls, BCP/DR)
  • Strong stakeholder management across FO/Ops/PC/Traded Risk, vendors, SMEs, ITSOs and Cyber
  • High ownership, clear escalation judgement, and ability to deliver under pressure (GCB 5/6 level)

Pro-tip : Familiarity with AI-enabled tools is an advantage.
