About the Company:
Our client is an internationally established engineering consultancy with 500+ engineers and detailers across 5 countries. We deliver BIM enabled engineering services, for example Structural or MEP engineering for buildings and infrastructure projects.
With our 2 business lines „Virtual Technical Office” and „End-to-end” we offer tailored-made engineering solutions or fully integrated project planning and supervision.
Own full operational P&L and lead end-to-end delivery, scalability, digital transformation, and organizational growth for a large engineering/BIM services firm serving international markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. P&L & Growth
Own revenue, margins, and EBITDA.
Drive growth via utilization (>88%), pricing, new services, and market expansion.
Achieve annual EBITDA targets.
2. Delivery & Client Excellence
Ensure 100% on-time delivery with zero critical defects.
Maintain NPS >75.
Lead governance, quality frameworks, and key client escalations.
3. Capacity & Efficiency
Scale operations through workforce planning and training.
Optimize pyramid structure and salary cost ratios.
4. Process & Digital Transformation
Lead automation (Tekla, Revit, Python, Power BI, ERP).
Implement ISO 9001, ISO 27001, CMMI-equivalent systems.
Drive BIM automation, cloud collaboration, AI-based QA tools.
5. Leadership
Build strong second-line leadership.
Establish KPI-driven, high-performance culture.
Maintain senior attrition <12%.
6. Strategic Expansion
Launch new services (Precast, Facade, Modular, Scan-to-BIM).
Build partnerships with global software vendors.
Required Profile
Experience: 15–25 years total
10+ years in steel/RC detailing or BIM (USA/UK/Aus markets preferred).
7–10 years in senior leadership roles in ₹50 Cr+ firms.
Proven track record scaling engineering services operations.
Technical Expertise (Mandatory):
AISC, Eurocode, BS, AS/NZS codes.
STADPRO, ETABS, Tekla, Revit, SDS/2, StruMIS, Navisworks, Solibri.
LOD 100–500 workflows, steel connections, rebar detailing.
Education:
B.E./B.Tech Civil/Structural (mandatory)
M.Tech preferred
MBA (Tier-1) desirable
Leadership Traits:
Execution-focused, process-driven, strategic yet hands-on, capable of leading 500+ engineers, based full-time in Chennai
