The Green Mountain Care Board (GMCB), Vermont's independent health care regulatory agency, is seeking an Administrator to support our mission of improving the health of Vermonters while controlling health care costs, increasing access to high-quality care, and ensuring greater transparency and accountability in the state’s health system. This position will help the board’s Policy Team stand up a hospital and health system quality and access measurement framework that can be used to support the Board’s regulatory work.

Work is performed primarily in an office setting and in a variety of field situations including large group meetings. Private means of transportation should be available since travel will be required. Meetings with various advisory committees, public interest groups, municipal officials and program staff as well as basic position functions may entail working evening hours. Encounters with adversary groups, conflicting opinions, and public apathy may be anticipated.
Master’s degree or Juris Doctor (J.D.) in relevant field AND three (3) years or more of professional level experience in administration, public policy, public health, government, health care or human services field.
OR
Bachelor's degree AND five (5) years or more of professional level experience in administration, public policy, public health, government, health care or human services field.
