Supermicro is seeking a visionary and results-driven GM, Networking Solutions to lead the strategic positioning, promotion, and business growth of our Networking Switch portfolio. This senior executive role will serve as the primary technical champion for Supermicro’s high-performance networking switches. You will drive the clear articulation of product specifications and capabilities, deliver compelling value propositions, build and scale a world-class networking team, and accelerate revenue growth in the data center and AI networking markets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive technology enablement strategies for the entire Supermicro Networking Switch portfolio
  • Champion the promotion of product specifications, features, performance capabilities, and technical differentiators of Supermicro networking switches to customers, partners, sales teams, and the broader market
  • Develop and deliver powerful value propositions that translate complex technical advantages into clear business and ROI outcomes for customers
  • Build, lead, mentor, and rapidly expand the Networking Switch team (including solutions architects, technical marketing, product specialists, and enablement professionals)
  • Drive significant business growth, market share expansion, and revenue attainment for the networking portfolio
  • Partner closely with Product Management, R&D, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Field Application teams to ensure seamless alignment between technical capabilities and go-to-market execution
  • Act as a key technical spokesperson and thought leader in customer meetings, industry events, webinars, and partner engagements
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging customer requirements to influence product roadmap and future innovation
  • Establish best-in-class enablement programs, training, and collateral to empower internal teams and channel partners

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline (Master’s degree or MBA highly preferred)
  • 17+ years of progressive experience in the networking or datacenter industry, with deep domain expertise in data center Ethernet switches, high-speed networking, and AI/cloud infrastructure
  • Minimum 8+ years of senior leadership experience (Director level or above), including building and scaling technical or enablement teams
  • Proven track record of successfully growing a networking hardware or solutions business and delivering measurable revenue growth
  • Strong technical knowledge of modern switching architectures, high-speed Ethernet (100G/400G/800G), fabric technologies, automation, and networking software ecosystems
  • Exceptional presentation, communication, and storytelling skills — able to simplify complex technical concepts for both technical and executive audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with customers and ecosystem partners

Salary Range

$240,000 - $280,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
