As the GM, Networks Delivery Office, you'll sit at the heart of one of Australia's most complex and impactful technology environments. Leading the Networks Delivery Office (NDO), you'll shape the vision, governance, and standards that drive delivery excellence across our Networks portfolio — influencing outcomes that connect millions of Australians every day. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced executive leader to make their mark on a business with scale, purpose, and ambition.

What You'll Do

  • Set the strategic vision, governance, and operating standards for the NDO, ensuring alignment with enterprise transformation objectives
  • Lead end-to-end portfolio planning and sequencing, balancing strategic value, risk, capacity, and regulatory obligations
  • Oversee program and project delivery across Networks, holding teams accountable for scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety outcomes
  • Drive transparent investment tracking, benefits realisation, and portfolio performance visibility across a large operating budget
  • Chair the Capital Steering Committee and oversee Capex Management governance, financial tracking, and reporting into Finance
  • Proactively identify, manage, and escalate strategic risks, issues, and interdependencies to executive leadership
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Transformation Delivery Office (ETDO) to establish governance and compliance standards across network portfolios
  • Build and uplift a high-performing team of, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Lead key transformation programs focused on business process excellence and organisational maturity

What makes you perfect for the role?

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, IT, engineering, or a related field; certification in Project Management is highly regarded
  • Extensive experience in lifecycle management across Mobile, Telco, or similarly complex environments
  • Expert knowledge of project management methodologies and PMO management, ideally within a large enterprise setting
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering enterprise-scale transformation aligned to business strategy and expectations
  • Proven leadership of large program/project management teams with the ability to lead through influence in a matrixed environment
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to navigate financial governance frameworks and engage confidently with senior stakeholders
  • A coaching mindset — you know how to develop talent, strengthen team dynamics, and build lasting organisational capability
  • Experience engaging with regulators (e.g. ACMA), vendors, and cross-functional partners including Finance, Procurement, and People & Culture
