You will lead a high-performing team of 30+ Business Development professionals, oversee our national growth strategy across Holdcos, Independent Agencies and Brand Direct, and help shape the future direction of both our business and the broader industry. Lead and Inspire a High-Performing Team

• Lead, develop and inspire a team of 30+ Business Development professionals and people managers.
• Set the pace, energy and tone for the broader Business Development org.
• Create an environment where high performers can thrive and build meaningful careers.
• Identify, develop and mentor future leaders.
• Build succession plans and organizational capability that support long-term growth.
• Navigate complexity, providing clear direction and decision making through ambiguity.

Drive Growth through Deep & Strategic Partnerships

• Lead Business Development strategy and execution across Holdco, Independent Agencies and Brands Direct.
• Deliver against ambitious growth objectives while deepening strategic client partnerships.
• Partner with senior client executives to unlock long-term partnerships that deliver mutual growth.
• Be an entrepreneurial problem solver, identifying and exploiting growth opportunities.
• Identify emerging opportunities and changing market dynamics that influence customer investment decisions.

Shape the Future of the Organization

• Constantly challenge and iterate team structures, operating models and processes to maximize performance and accountability.
• Assess future capability requirements across areas such as AI, identity, measurement, CTV, retail media and data-driven marketing.
• Ensure the organization remains agile and capable amid ongoing industry disruption.

Be a thought Leader

• Bring a strong, informed point of view on the future of advertising, media and technology.
• Serve as a senior industry voice and ambassador for The Trade Desk.
• Engage confidently with C-level clients, agency leadership and industry stakeholders.
• Speak at industry events and contribute to industry thought leadership.

Collaborate and Influence Internally

• Build strong partnerships across Client Services, Client Strategy, Product, Marketing, Inventory & Data Partnerships and Executive Leadership both locally and globally.
• Align cross functional teams to drive growth.
• Drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.

WHO YOU ARE

A Proven Commercial Leader

• 15+ years experience within digital advertising, ad technology or media sales.
• Significant experience leading outbound sales organizations within either Ad Tech, Digital Publishing or Media.
• Track record of delivering and exceeding revenue targets.
• Deep relationships across Holdcos, Indies and Brand Direct advertiser communities.
