Glove & Barrier Lineworkers - Metro Melbourne-265558

UGL’s Utilities O&M business continues to grow, and we’re looking for experienced Glove & Barrier Lineworkers who want stability, predictability, and balance in their working week.

Based out of our Tullamarine depot, this is a metro-focused role servicing Melbourne’s major metro distribution network — ideal for Lineworkers who want to step away from rosters or travel, and get back to Monday–Friday structure

You’ll be part of a safety‑led, professional crew delivering high‑quality live line work while still having time for life outside the job.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Performing live line Glove & Barrier work on overhead distribution networks

  • Fault response, planned maintenance and defect rectification

  • Working on a busy, complex metro network that keeps your skills sharp

  • Part of an experienced, professional crew that takes pride in doing the job safely and properly

What You’ll Need

  • Certificate III in ESI –Distribution Overhead or equivalent

  • Glove & Barrier qualification and proven live line experience

  • Victorian Lineworker Registration ( Orange Card)

  • HR Driver’s Licence

  • High Risk Work Licences – EWP, Dogging, and/or Rigging

  • White Card, First Aid, CPR, and other relevant industry tickets

  • Strong safety focus and pride in workmanship

  • Leadership experience (Crew Leader applicants)

  • Crane Borer (Peru) and HV Switching experience highly regarded

Please note a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screening test will be required.
