Location: Bristol (hybrid)

The Finance function is responsible for providing treasury management services in respect of both client and own funds, financial planning & analysis, financial accounting and reporting, commercial finance and tax support to all business units and functions throughout the Computershare Group.

Operational Payments transformation programme will be implementing a global payments hub and payment operations utility for Computershare.The role must also work collaboratively with other global teams, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and a variety of project related activity.

The Global Treasury Change Lead provides strategic leadership over treasury processes, systems, and controls to support the organisation’s financial strategy and longterm objectives. The role leads governance and changes delivery to manage risk and realise benefits, while providing functional leadership to treasury analysts and project resources. This person ensures that business requirements capability supports broader organisational objectives, including resilience, cost efficiency, and the delivery of high‑quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee structured workshops with stakeholders to gather, validate, and prioritise requirements, translating them into clear process documentation, models, and implementation specifications.
  • Accountable for high quality analysis and documentation including treasury process flows, data analysis, reconciliations, and reporting to support project planning and execution.
  • Own the end-to-end delivery strategy for treasury change initiatives, embedding strong governance, planning discipline, and execution oversight across the full lifecycle.
  • Act as a senior treasury partner across cross functional programmes, ensuring treasury impacts, dependencies, and regulatory considerations are proactively identified and fully integrated into solution outcomes.
  • Drive the identification and prioritisation of process improvements, control enhancements, and operating model changes, enabling scalable, automated, and well governed treasury operations.
  • Own and evolve the treasury control framework, ensuring robust risk identification, mitigation, and ongoing compliance with regulatory, system, and business changes.
  • Lead the definition and articulation of treasury system and change requirements, shaping investment cases and influencing design decisions with senior stakeholders and technology partners.
  • Partner with Technology and Finance leadership to ensure seamless integration of treasury systems and processes, resolving complex issues and mitigating operational and regulatory risks.
  • Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) for Treasury systems, preparing test cases, validating outputs, and ensuring changes meet business requirements.
  • Provide Treasury subject matter knowledge and change delivery guidance, supporting colleagues development, sharing best practice, and contributing analysis to inform strategic and operational decision making.
  • Lead and direct global, multi-disciplinary Treasury Business Analyst and change teams, operating through both direct and matrix leadership to support end to end transformation delivery.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Deep domain expertise in global payments and treasury operations, with a strong command of regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Recognised thought leader in defining and implementing enterprise-wide development and testing strategies, standards, and robust control frameworks.
  • Proven accountability for designing target operating models and embedding best practices within complex, global technology environments.
  • Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end payments architecture, including system integrations, processing flows, and large-scale interdependencies.
  • Forward-thinking mindset, leveraging industry insights, regulatory developments, and emerging technologies to shape and evolve organisational strategy.
  • Extensive experience within large, complex, and highly regulated global organisations, ideally in financial services.
  • Strong strategic leadership, with the ability to set a clear vision, define priorities, and establish performance expectations across diverse delivery landscapes.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to influence and align senior and executive-level leaders to drive business outcomes.
  • Track record of resolving highly complex, enterprise-wide challenges involving multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and constraints.
  • End-to-end ownership of global development and testing strategy, playing a critical role in the successful delivery of large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives.
