GLOBAL TRAINEE - STEEL MAKING

Did you just graduate? Are you graduating?

Enter the Global Trainee Program, you will be part of an ambitious international project aimed at dynamic and brilliant young people, interested in the industrial world.

You will have the opportunity to acquire knowledge, methodologies, tools and managerial techniques that will allow you to build your professional future.

Tenaris offers you an insertion program through an apprenticeship contract, aimed at the development of potential in a dynamic and international environment.

You will take part in technical and managerial training plans, job rotation and on the job training.

Your first assignment will be in Steel Making, with the following activities:

  • Ensure that production programs are completed by controlling the load distribution among the machines.
  • Coordinate the supply of raw materials based on the established manufacturing program.
  • Analyze and solve any operating and non-operating problems that may arise in the area and determines the causes for problems and the corrective actions to be taken to solve it.
  • Control the production and makes sure that quality and security standards are met.
  • Ensure compliance with the budget by participating together with the Engineering and Costs areas, in the definition of consumption standards and of investments planned for the area and monitoring actual versus budgeted consumption providing detailed explanations of any possible differences.
  • Ensure the equipment's correct functioning by working together with the maintenance area in the identification of potential problems, in improvements to be implemented as well as in machinery reinstallations to be made.
  • Analyze, interprets and recommends courses of action for more complex topics.
  • Complie with the energy consumption target/goals, carrying out the required actions that aim to save energy.

Requirements:

  • Master degree in Managerial engineering; Mechanical engineering; Chemical engineering; Physical Engineering; Electric/Electronic engineering; Automation Engineering
  • Maximum age 28 years
  • Good knowledge of the English language
  • Professional experience not exceeding two years
  • Proactivity
