Global Trainee Program - Maintenance Analyst - Koppel, PA

LOCATION: Koppel - Pennsylvania - USA

The Global Trainee Program is an intensive two-year program (full-time) that supports development of promising professionals with the potential to become future leaders in Tenaris.
A Global Trainee will build expertise, engage with colleagues around the world, and demonstrate performance while learning about Tenaris’ culture and industrial heritage leaving them prepared to take the next steps in their career.

Purpose:
Follows up the execution of the maintenance activities by controlling the availability of necessary resources and that the internal/external services comply with time, cost, quality and safety standards. Ensures availability of necessary materials and spare parts guaranteeing adequate stock levels. Prepares the budget of spare parts to be used . Analyzes machine performance in order to: identify the causes of defects and propose corrective and preventive actions; look for improvement opportunities and maximize its useful life.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Participates in the definition of the maintenance planning implementation in his/her area. Follows up the execution of the maintenance activities by controlling the availability of necessary resources and that the internal/external services comply with time, cost, quality and safety standards.
  • Ensures availability of necessary materials and spare parts required to carry out on projects.
  • Participates in the homologation process of new supplies and services
  • Prepares the budget of spare parts to be used performing a stock-count of spare parts, coordinating major inputs needed for repairs. Analyzes cost behavior and cost reduction options.
  • Analyzes machine performance in order to: identify the causes of defects and propose corrective and preventive actions; generate improvement opportunities and maximize its useful life.
  • Manages and updates the maintenance information system, keeping record of the information related to his/her area.
  • Participates in maintenance programs to minimize/optimize the use of required energy.
  • Defines procedures and fosters maintenance program execution to minimize/optimize the use of required energy, and promotes improvement actions in general in order to reduce resources consumption waste. To comply with HSE procedures, report any incident or observation, perform inspections and participate in the investigation process. Implement the preventive/corrective actions. Keep updated the risk analysis and the environmental aspect assessment.
  • Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor Degree or Higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering.
  • Less than 3 years of full-time experience post degree completion
