Job Purpose:
Part of Derivative Operations, the Market Access and Position Management team ensures that Vitol is efficiently connected to a wide range of platforms & exchanges to execute on the global commodity markets. The team is looking for a curious and highly motivated individual with an interest in derivatives and OTC markets in order to enable access to all exchanges, market trading platforms and talk to the various desks across the company to ensure the group is compliant against exchange and regulatory limits. You will liaise with many stakeholders internally, such as traders, IT, compliance, and externally with e.g. exchanges and software vendors. In a very short amount of time, you will learn about the trading setup of Vitol across numerous markets, boost your product knowledge in all the different products that Vitol trades, and gain a wide network in the company.
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior System Administrator to support and evolve our hybrid on‑premises and cloud infrastructure in a Geneva‑based, international environment. This role requires strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, Azure, identity and security services, and virtualization, with a high standard of reliability and professionalism.
The position plays a critical role in ensuring availability, security, and compliance of core IT services supporting business‑critical operations.
