About the role

The Global Supply Management Specialist is a unique blended role offering a combination of responsibilities that give you broad experience and set you up for professional growth within our Global Supply Management (GSM) team. In this position, you will participate in a team that drives business transformation and innovation across the US Division through purchasing and supply chain management. This role goes beyond traditional administrative support and requires strong coordination skills, executive presence, and the ability to drive follow-up and execution across a global, cross-functional organization. In this role, you will report directly to the Executive Director of GSM.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Purchasing Support

  • Support purchasing initiatives and cross-functional projects
  • Assist with research, coordination, and execution of strategic initiatives
  • Provide administrative and organizational support for transformation activities

Vendor & External Engagement Support

  • Assist in preparing leadership communications to suppliers
  • Coordinate scheduling and meeting logistics with key vendors
  • Track and follow-up on supplier-related actions to support alignment and timely execution
  • Ensure communications reflect a professional, consistent, and executive-level standard

Leadership Coordination & Accountability

  • Serve as point of coordination between GSM Executive and leadership team to track key commitments, deliverables, and follow-ups
  • Drive visibility and accountability by monitoring progress against milestones and deadlines
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel in alignment with business priorities and executive schedules

Meeting & Governance Support

  • Coordinate leadership meetings (preparation, logistics, materials and documented outcomes)
  • Track action items and decisions, ensuring timely follow-up and closure with stakeholders
  • Support governance routines including staff meetings, QBRs, and leadership reviews to ensure consistency and execution

Executive & Business Operations Support

  • Manage GSM Executive calendar and coordinate internal/external meetings across global time zones to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Support development of executive-level presentations and reporting materials
  • Compile data from cross-functional teams to support leadership updates and strategic decisions
  • Ensure executive materials are accurate, well-structured, and aligned with leadership messaging and business objectives

Qualifications

  • Technical Proficiency Experience with supply chain software, data analysis tools, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, PowerBI) preferred.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to solve complex problems using data. Previous experience with data analytics preferred.
  • Communication Excellent written and verbal skills, capable of interacting effectively across all levels and regions within an organization.
  • Learning Agility Quick learner, adaptable to new concepts and technologies.
  • Organizational Skills Proficient in multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail Meticulous in handling documents, scheduling, and correspondence.
  • Adaptability Self-motivated and disciplined, comfortable in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Professionalism Represent the CPO and Nexteer with professionalism and integrity.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required and Master’s degree preferred in Business Administration, Finance, or Supply Chain Management. Other degrees will be considered in conjunction with relevant experience.
