GLOBAL SUPPLY CHAIN & PROCUREMENT - DIRECTOR FP&A & SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNING FINANCE

FINANCE / SUPPLY CHAIN FINANCE
Amsterdam (Hybrid)

As our Director FP&A & Supply Chain Planning Finance, you will lead the end‑to‑end FP&A agenda for Global Supply Chain and Procurement while acting as a strategic finance co‑pilot to Supply Chain Planning—driving performance, inventory optimization, and value‑based decision‑making across the organization.

THE ROLE

OPTIMIZE, ENABLE, INNOVATE!

As our Director FP&A & Supply Chain Planning Finance, you play a critical role in orchestrating Supply Chain financial performance. You will lead global FP&A processes, partner with senior Supply Chain leaders, and provide insights on cost, inventory, and cash—enabling better decisions across Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Logistics.

You will be reporting to Global Supply Chain Finance leadership, and you will manage:

1. FP&A Leadership & Performance Management

• Own the end‑to‑end FP&A drumbeat across Global Supply Chain & Procurement (reporting, forecasting, outlooks, budgeting, strategic planning)
• Lead fixed cost budgeting and performance management across Supply Chain functions
• Consolidate and challenge financial inputs across Supply Chain pillars
• Drive performance reviews focused on cost, inventory, cash, and productivity
• Ensure decision‑oriented financial storytelling for senior leadership

2. Strategic Co‑Pilot to Supply Chain Planning

• Act as finance co‑pilot to Supply Chain Planning and S&OP processes
• Provide financial insights on inventory, working capital, and E&O risks
• Support scenario analysis and trade‑off decisions (service, cost, cash)
• Enable delivery of inventory and cash targets through fact‑based planning
• Embed finance thinking into planning and performance forums

3. Business Partnering & Cross‑Functional Leadership

• Serve as trusted finance partner to the CFO Global Supply Chain and senior leaders
• Influence decision‑making through forward‑looking analysis and insights
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Logistics, Procurement, and Transformation teams
• Act as the main Supply Chain Finance interface to Corporate Finance, Divisions, Tax, and Audit
• Lead cross‑division and cross‑functional projects impacting Supply Chain finance

4. Team Leadership & Capability Building

• Lead and develop FP&A and analytics teams across Supply Chain and Procurement
• Strengthen capabilities in planning, inventory finance, and performance analytics
• Build strong data, automation, and AI‑driven insight capabilities
• Foster business partnering excellence and analytical skills within the team

5. Transformation & Continuous Improvement

• Support Supply Chain finance transformation initiatives
• Drive simplification and improvement of FP&A processes, tools, and ways of working
• Balance operational excellence with delivery of strategic projects

YOU ARE A COTY FIT

As a senior finance leader, you combine deep FP&A expertise with strong business partnering and leadership capabilities.

Your skills and experience include:

• 10–15+ years of progressive finance experience, including FP&A and supply chain environments
• Proven experience as a finance co‑pilot to senior operational stakeholders
• Strong understanding of inventory economics, E&O, volumes, and working capital
• Experience in financial consolidation and performance management
• Track record in leading and developing finance teams
• Strong collaboration, communication, and problem‑solving skills
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (MBA/CPA is a plus)

Technical expertise:

• SAP S/4HANA
• Planning and consolidation tools (e.g. Hyperion)
• Power BI, advanced Excel, PowerPoint
• Data analytics and AI‑driven tools (e.g. Copilot)
