About the role
For our Milan office, we are currently looking for a Global Supply Chain Planning Sr. Specialist to be hired in the Supply Chain function reporting to the Global Supply Chain Planning Ass. Director. The Global Supply Chain Planning Senior Specialist acts as a subject‑matter expert in global and cluster‑level supply chain planning, supporting end‑to‑end forecast accuracy, inventory optimization and cross‑country alignment. The role supports and coordinates S&OP, forecasting and inventory activities, ensuring consistency, data reliability and effective collaboration across markets and functions.
Key Responsabilities
Act as SME and support the execution of the global S&OP cycle across clusters, contributing to demand planning, gross and net supply alignment, and integration of market trends and promotional uplifts.
Execute and support global forecasting activities, including statistical modelling, forecast enrichment, performance monitoring, and preparation and consolidation of global forecasts for manufacturers.
Support and coordinate the application of global stock policies and target stock strategies, contributing to inventory optimization in terms of service levels, rotation and working capital at SKU and shop level.
Contribute to the Supply Chain P&L, implement actions to reduce costs and improve service;
Execute cash improvements targets through inventory optimization in line with Finance and Sales across regions and functions
Support on Service Levels through on shelf availability to enable instant trial and reduce the sales funnel
Support the Share‑of‑Wallet (SOW) process by ensuring correct application of global guidelines, monitoring deviations and coordinating follow‑ups with regional and local teams.
Support the planning business cycle by contributing to data consolidation and facilitating alignment with Sales, Marketing and Finance.
Coordinate NPI and phase‑out planning activities, supporting supplier interactions related to launches, lifecycle management, volume planning and supply readiness.
Analyze global planning KPIs, perform root‑cause analyses and support the definition and tracking of corrective actions.
Contribute to and coordinate planning improvement initiatives, including BI enhancements, process optimization and implementation of forecasting and replenishment tools.
Act as reference point for planning processes across countries, supporting consistency in ways of working and planning performance.
Support on supply chain transformation initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
Professional Experience
Master’s Degree in Management Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain or similar is a plus.
5–7 years of experience in inventory management, forecasting or supply chain planning, preferably in multi‑country or retail environments.
Knowledge of stock performance metrics (turnover, margin contribution, COGS).
Advanced Excel and BI skills; ERP/Oracle knowledge; familiarity with forecasting /replenishment tools.
Full professional proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.

The reference Gross Annual Salary is approximately in the range of €42.000 - €58.000 The actual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and specific skills and knowledge and also to the educational background.
The position is also eligible for an annual Company bonus (‘premio di risultato’) linked to business performance, in line with Company policies.
