PRIMARY EMPLOYMENT OBJECTIVES

The Global Supply Chain Planner is responsible for translating demand into executable supply plans that ensure material availability, optimize inventory levels, and support global operations across Revision’s supply network.

This role owns supply planning, inventory positioning, and mid- to long-term material readiness, coordinating closely with internal stakeholders and external partners—including international assembly operations—to ensure alignment between demand, supply, and operational execution.

The position serves as a key cross-functional leader within the organization, directly interfacing with Finance, Operations, Product Management, and Marketing to align supply chain decisions with business objectives. This role oversees the planning and procurement of inventory, ensuring the right materials are available at the right time while balancing cost, service, and working capital.

SPECIFIC ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Supply Planning & ERP Ownership

  • Translate demand forecasts, customer orders, and business inputs into supply and purchasing requirements using ERP systems (Syteline)
  • Define and maintain planning inputs including lead times, order policies (safety stock and reorder points), and planning assumptions
  • Review and validate system-generated planning outputs to ensure accuracy and feasibility

Inventory Strategy & Management

  • Define and maintain target inventory levels across finished goods and components
  • Balance service levels, inventory investment, and operational constraints
  • Identify and proactively manage risks related to shortages, excess inventory, and obsolescence
  • Drive actions to optimize inventory health and support business performance

Global Supply Coordination

  • Coordinate material flow and supply requirements between U.S. operations and international assembly partners
  • Ensure materials are available in the right location at the right time to support production schedule
  • Align supply timing with production plans, assembly operations, and business priorities

Supply Risk Identification & Resolution

  • Proactively identify constraints, shortages, and risks impacting production and customer delivery
  • Lead cross-functional recovery planning with Operations, Logistics, and Scheduling
  • Communicate material risks, impacts, and mitigation plans clearly to stakeholders
  • Escalate critical supply risks and trade-offs to Supply Chain leadership

SIOP Support & Planning Integration

  • Own supply-side inputs into the SIOP process, including supply plans, inventory projections, and constraints
  • Partner directly with:
  • Ensure alignment between demand signals and supply capabilities across the organization

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for material availability and supply-related decisions
  • Communicate regularly with production and assembly teams on:
  • Ensure alignment between planning outputs and operational execution

Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop and track key supply chain metrics, including, inventory turns, service levels, shortages and backorders, and planning accuracy
  • Identify and implement improvements in planning processes, ERP parameters, and supply chain performance
  • Drive increased visibility and clarity in supply chain decision-making through data and reporting

Knowledge, Skill & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain planning, material planning, or operations planning
  • Strong experience with ERP/MRP systems (Syteline preferred)
  • Deep understanding of supply chain planning concepts (lead times, safety stock, demand variability)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to operate independently and make informed decisions
  • Advanced Excel skills and data analysis capability
  • U.S. Government Authorization required.

  • Office environment with interaction with manufacturing environment
