The Global Supply Chain Leadership Development Program (GSCLDP) Internship is a 12 week immersive program designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of a global supply chain network. Interns take ownership of a high-impact project within either procurement or supply chain operations, driving tangible business results.
Upon successful completion of the summer internship program, you may be considered for employment opportunities within the full-time Global Supply Chain Leadership Development Program post-graduation.
Supply Chain project assignments could be in areas such as:
Lead projects within Inventory Management such as SKU analysis, dashboard performance or data validation; creating resolutions and recommendations to business leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
Manage projects within Inbound or Outbound Transportation such as carrier selection & routing strategy, primary carrier utilization, strategic materials management
Coordinate with business partners across functions, from Procurement and Manufacturing to Sales and Marketing
Be a part of the production planning team, gaining knowledge and experience with Standard Operating Procedures and production planning processes
Identify bottlenecks and gaps for inventory control systems to identify process improvements
Procurement project assignments could be in areas such as:
Work to develop global commodity strategies and analyze current strategies such as quoting, issuing orders, invoicing, expediting and other supplier business initiatives
Identify cost savings with current supply base or analyze potential for new supplier relationships
Lead raw materials forecasting for various commodities
Assist Buyers in evaluating and monitoring supplier performance in delivery, quality, and cost
Consolidate and standardize the supplier base, driving reductions in total cost and improvements in service and quality
Assist with negotiation preparation and negotiation strategies
Work with cross-functional and cross-regional teams on key projects and business initiatives

Pursuing bachelor's degree with plans to graduate before or by May 2029
Current cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher
Majoring in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transportation, Integrated Supply Management, Applied Engineering Sciences, Business Administration, or Finance
