Our liquid-cooled power modules power our chargers and rectifiers. This role sources the power semiconductors inside them and the thermal systems that keep them cool.

You will own supplier strategy, negotiations, cost, supplier performance, capacity, and technology roadmaps for power semiconductor modules (SiC, Si, GaN), cold plates, liquid cooling assemblies, heat sinks, thermal interface materials, and fans. You will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management to support both new product development and production.

This role needs a strong technical grasp of power electronics, solid global supplier management, and the ability to secure long-lead, capacity-constrained parts as Tritium grows into the data center and grid storage markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure alignment on specifications and quality standards.
  • Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement plans as necessary.
  • Manage inventory levels and forecast demand to optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Prepare and present reports on sourcing activities and market trends to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all sourcing activities.
  • Approximately 20% travel, including visits to suppliers in North America, Europe and Asia.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in commodity management or procurement, preferably in the logistics or manufacturing sectors.
  • Experience managing global suppliers within power electronics, automotive, industrial electronics, EV charging, renewable energy, or related industries.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract management.
  • Proficient in data analysis and market research techniques.
  • Experience managing global RFQs and supplier selection.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and procurement software (NetSuite preferred).
