Your Role:

The Life Science Global Stategic Accounts Senior Director is a senior commercial leader responsible for leading a team of Global Strategic Account Directors and Managers to drive long-term growth across key global strategic accounts. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Life Science Global Strategic Accounts, this role owns the strategic direction, commercial performance, and customer engagement strategy across the Life Science strategic account portfolio. Operating within a complex global matrix, the Sr. Director orchestrates alignment across regional commercial teams, franchises, and enterprise business partners to deliver differentiated customer outcomes, deepen executive relationships, and advance enterprise growth priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and strengthen executive-level relationships across global customer organizations, from R&D through commercial manufacturing, to drive long-term strategic growth and customer partnership.
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis
  • Serve as a strategic leadership interface between global customers and internal senior leadership to align on priorities, mitigate risks, and accelerate growth opportunities
  • Act as the escalation path for global and strategic issues , ensuring client satisfaction and the success of engagements.
  • Own global strategic account performance, including growth targets, revenue forecasting, and execution against strategic account plans.
  • Lead and influence cross-functional and cross-regional teams to effectively execute global customer growth initiatives and drive differentiated customer experience.
  • Provide leadership and support for strategic account planning, relationship mapping, governance, global contract, and pricing negotiations
  • Actively manage performance, compliance and development across the team

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, or related discipline
  • 10+ years’ of Life Science industry experience. 5+ years' of people management experience (international teams)
  • Proven experience leading high-performing strategic account teams in a global and matrixed environment, including experience managing senior account leaders and/or cross-functional global teams
  • Effective executive presence, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong business and financial acumen with demonstrated ability to influence across complex matrix organizations
  • Capable of collecting, assimilating, and synthesizing relevant business and operating data to develop fact-based recommendations and support strategic decision-making
  • Demonstrated ability to assess industry, customer, and market trends to identify strategic growth opportunities and inform long-term account strategies
  • Proven ability to translate strategic account plans into measurable commercial growth opportunities and expanded customer value
  • Demonstrated ability to lead organizational and commercial process improvements that enhance customer experience, operational effectiveness, and business performance
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across highly matrixed global organizations
