The Global Sr Procurement Manager Humectants is responsible for developing, executing and implementing the sourcing strategy for the organization. This includes identifying and developing relationships with new partners, as well as managing and growing existing strategic partnerships. The implementation of the sourcing strategies will secure raw & pack ensure transparency, quality and maintain cost, integrity and compliance with established rules and regulations around the world related with Humectants.
This key leadership position will be strategic and hands-on to champion the creation and evolution of efficient projects that support our corporate and organizational goals with innovation to elevate the customer experience. They will partner cross-functionally with the CMS, R&D, Global Supply Chain, Marketing, and Legal to enable growth in the Colgate - Palmolive's categories: Home Care, Personal Care and Oral Care.
Responsibilities:
Define and lead the Humectants Category Sourcing Strategies to ensure the cost excellence and mitigate the risk holistically
Leads risk management strategies such as single source & hurricane contingency
Develops and implements Global Fueling the Growth Programs
Execute annual direct materials budget guidance for Humectants
Support the implementation of the sustainability roadmaps
Develops documented understanding of market structure and drivers for his/her materials, with risk management overview, and identifies opportunities and threats for the future
Partners with R&D and Supply Chain in pursuit of Fueling the Growth corporate program and Innovation opportunities
Lead Supplier Relationship Management through tracking of KPI’s; establishes a collaborative environment with key suppliers and business partners to optimize supplier performance and innovation
Partners with Divisional Procurement leaders to develop risk management/business interruption plans, as per corporate guidelines, using supply chain tools (Supply Management Inventory, ESM- Enhance Supply Management Audits, CLM - Risk Management etc.)
Leads the coordination of continuous improvement programs with suppliers (i.e. Supplier Engagement Program, Continuous Improvement Teams etc).
Acts as a functional resource, providing support on task forces, acquisition studies, and major project support.
Participates in external industry forums and internal Purchasing Council meetings. Shares external benchmark information for materials and processes.
Leads Make vs Buy initiatives or projects leading to strategic or FTG decisions.
Develops together with R&D simplification and harmonization initiatives
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree of Arts or Science in a technical or business discipline or a related field.
8+ years of Procurement or Supply Chain experience or 6+ years experience with a Master's degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
An advanced degree (MBA) or professional certification (CPM or CPSM).
Minimum 2 years of management experience
Experience in SAP
Possess foundational technical and functional expertise, business-financial understanding, and managing materials and services.
Has the ability to cover end-to-end project management, driving cross-organizational collaboration, and promoting teamwork.
Possess effective communication, relationship building, leading change, and leveraging influence and negotiation with a strong consumer/customer focus.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $124,000.00 - $174,000.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
