Job Description

GE Vernova is seeking a senior, enterprise level leader to own and integrate Global Sourcing Systems, Advanced Analytics, and Strategic Initiatives. This role combines ownership of the Source to Pay operating model, digital platforms, data & analytics with leadership of high visibility strategic initiatives, GenAI enablement, governance, and enterprise capability building.
This leader will define and execute the future state sourcing vision for GE Vernova—modernizing how sourcing works across businesses through process harmonization, systems simplification, advanced analytics, and digital innovation, while also serving as a trusted thought partner to the Sourcing Operations Leader and CPO.
The role requires a balance of strategic vision, execution rigor, digital fluency, and executive presence, with direct impact on productivity, savings delivery, risk management, and sourcing maturity enterprise wide.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Sourcing Strategy

  • Own and execute the global sourcing process, systems, and analytics strategy across GE Vernova
  • Define and drive the Source‑to‑Pay future‑state operating model, ensuring simplification, standardization, scalability, and strong governance
  • Lead enterprise sourcing transformation programs from concept through execution, with measurable business outcomes
  • Conduct sourcing maturity assessments across Business Units and lead targeted improvement roadmaps

Systems, Data & Analytics Leadership

  • Own and evolve the global sourcing systems landscape, including platforms such as SupplierConnect, Sourcegate+, Grid Fusion VMR, Sourcing360, and ERP integrations
  • Lead sourcing data ingestion into the enterprise data lake; define common metrics, dashboards, and insights
  • Build scalable analytics capabilities to improve decision‑making, savings identification, compliance, and risk visibility
  • Own sourcing master data strategy to ensure accuracy, consistency, and enterprise usability

Digital, GenAI & Innovation Enablement

  • Define and execute the digital and GenAI roadmap for sourcing, from use‑case identification through deployment and adoption
  • Partner with IT, finance, legal, and external vendors to modernize sourcing tools and workflows
  • Drive user adoption, change management, and capability building to fully capture technology value
  • Benchmark external best practices and emerging technologies to accelerate sourcing maturity

Strategic Initiatives & Governance

  • Lead high‑visibility sourcing initiatives, including:
    • GenAI applications
    • Risk management programs
    • Commodity and category playbooks
    • Should‑costing and productivity initiatives
    • Process excellence and Lean agendas
  • Own CPO‑level governance, including Sourcing Councils, leadership operating rhythms, and enterprise reviews
  • Prepare executive‑ready materials for ELT, Board, and senior leadership forums

People, Capability & Change Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and develop a global team responsible for sourcing transformation, systems, and analytics
  • Drive enterprise capability‑building programs (digital, GenAI, sourcing foundations, analytics fluency)
  • Embed Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement principles across sourcing teams
  • Foster a culture of accountability, data‑driven decision making, and innovation

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, supply chain transformation, or management consulting
  • Proven success leading large‑scale, global, cross‑functional transformation programs
  • Deep expertise in Source‑to‑Pay processes, digital platforms, data architecture, and analytics
  • Demonstrated leadership in GenAI, digital enablement, automation, and advanced analytics
  • Strong executive communication, storytelling, and stakeholder influence skills
  • Experience operating effectively in matrixed, global organizations
  • Familiarity with Lean, Kaizen, category management, cost modeling, and risk management strongly preferred

The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
