Job Title: Global Sourcing & Purchasing Manager
Job Location Lyndhurst, NJ
Job Type Full-Time/Permanent
Salary Range $110k - $145k
Responsibilities:
Manage relationships with overseas manufacturers and suppliers.
Negotiate pricing, terms, lead times, and supply agreements.
Oversee import logistics, including ocean freight, customs, and supplier coordination.
Lead product development initiatives, source new products, and identify new manufacturing partners.
Analyze purchasing data, inventory levels, and market trends to support business growth.
Collaborate with sales and operations to align purchasing strategies with customer demand.
Support and help develop the purchasing team as the company grows.
Qualification
5–10 years of purchasing, sourcing, or import experience
Must have overseas purchasing experience
Strong background in international sourcing and supplier negotiations.
Experience managing overseas manufacturers and import programs.
Knowledge of ocean freight, customs, and global supply chain operations.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience with product development is a plus.
Leadership experience or interest in growing into a leadership role preferred.
