Global Sourcing Manager Transport

Location: Zug, Switzerland

Reports to: Global Transport & Warehouse Director

Purpose

As the Global Sourcing Manager for Transport, you will design, drive, and execute the regional transport procurement strategy. Bridging key stakeholders, you will optimize our supplier network, spearhead tenders, and deliver sustainable value.

What you will be doing

  • Category Strategy: Formulate and deploy regional strategies, translating macro insights into high-impact pipeline projects.
  • Sourcing & Tender Management: Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives and tenders.
  • Financial Optimization: Drive TCO reductions and maximize value creation through rigorous procurement routines.
  • Executive Influence: Deliver data-driven business cases and proposals to senior leadership for alignment and approval.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with global structures, zone teams, and suppliers to foster collaborative, long-term relationships.
  • Capability Building: Lead capability building for zones on logistics procurement tools, methodologies and best practices sharing.

Who we’re looking for

  • Experience: 5 years in logistics procurement, transport sourcing, or 3PL management (FMCG/CPG/Retail preferred).
  • Analytics: Strong cost-modeling and data analysis skills in complex supply chains.
  • Negotiation: Proven track record in commercial negotiation and contract management.
  • Mindset: Agile, resilient, and eager to drive impact in a robust and fast CPG industry.
  • Languages: Fluent English mandatory; Portuguese or Spanish is a strong plus.
