Help strengthen responsible sourcing across our global organization

Responsible sourcing starts with strong processes, accurate data and effective collaboration. As Global Sourcing Governance Assistant, you will play an important role in BioMar’s global supplier approval processes and help ensure that supplier governance is managed consistently across our international organization.

Working closely with the Global Sourcing Governance Specialist, Category Managers and local sourcing departments, you will contribute to efficient and compliant supplier management. Your work will help support the responsible sourcing standards that underpin BioMar’s commitment to sustainable aquaculture.

Create structure and support sourcing excellence worldwide

Our Global Sourcing team plays a key role in supporting BioMar facilities worldwide. We balance ambitious requirements for quality, nutrition and sustainability with commercial and logistical considerations to ensure responsible sourcing across our supply chain.

In this role, you will help maintain and strengthen the processes, systems and documentation that support supplier governance and compliance. You will work with colleagues across functions and cultures, helping create consistency and transparency in supplier management activities.

• Maintain supplier data and ensure high data quality in relevant systems
• Evaluate and approve global suppliers
• Collect, review and follow up on supplier documentation
• Assist with audit preparation activities
• Maintain sourcing governance procedures and documentation, while supporting training of new sites and employees

Bring accuracy, collaboration and a process-driven approach

You enjoy working with structured processes and detailed documentation, and you take pride in maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy. You collaborate effectively with stakeholders and are comfortable working across functions to support shared goals.

You bring relevant experience from governance, compliance or process-driven administrative work and can confidently manage multiple priorities while ensuring consistency and attention to detail.

Must-have requirements:

• Experience working with supplier onboarding, compliance processes, quality management systems, audit preparation or similar governance-related administrative activities
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high data quality while applying evaluation standards consistently
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage with suppliers and follow through on agreed actions
• A structured and organized ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment
• Fluency in written and spoken English

Nice-to-have:

A bachelor’s degree in supply chain, procurement, business administration or a related field. Familiarity with quality management systems and relevant standards or certification schemes such as ISO 9001, ISO 22000, GLOBAL G.A.P. and GMP are considered an advantage.
