As a Global Sourcing Digitization Intern, you will support the Sourcing Excellence team in advancing digital procurement processes. You contribute to data‑driven sourcing initiatives and help improve transparency and usability of procurement information. The role is hands‑on, analytical, and closely connected to operational sourcing activities.
YOUR TASKS
• You support digitalization initiatives as a Global Sourcing Digitization Intern and ensure data readiness for sourcing and procurement projects
• You analyze, understand, map, and document global sourcing and procurement processes end to end
• You extract, analyze, and report procurement‑related data from SAP to support transparency and decision‑making
• You create structured documentation and clear working instructions to guide internal users
• You design and build SharePoint sites and integrate them with Power BI for effective data visualization
• You collaborate closely with stakeholders from sourcing, IT, and related functions to support continuous process improvement
YOUR PROFILE
• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business, Supply Chain, IT, Business Informatics, or a comparable field
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of macros
• First practical experience with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA preferred, ideally in a procurement environment
• Analytical and structured mindset with a fast learning ability and strong collaboration skills
• Fluent English skills are mandatory; German skills are an advantage
