Together, we’re pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water, and shipping.

As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.

About the job

As the Global S&OP Process Specialist, you will play a key role within Alfa Laval’s Global Spare Parts Planning Team, part of Parts Distribution & Logistics (PDL).

In this role, you will coordinate and facilitate the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process across multiple stakeholders, ensuring alignment between supply planning, business needs, and operational execution. Acting as a central point of coordination, you will drive collaboration across Business Units and Distribution Centers while supporting continuous improvements in planning processes and tools.

Some of your key responsibilities will be:

  • Facilitate and coordinate S&OP governance meetings, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement, clear communication, and timely follow-up on actions.

  • Coordinate cross-functional supply planning activities across Business Units and Distribution Centers to optimize inventory levels while maintaining high customer service levels.

  • Analyze planning data, forecasts, and supply chain performance to support decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Participate in and support supply chain improvement initiatives, projects, and system implementations.

The position can be based in either Stockholm or Lund, Sweden.

Who are you

You are an analytical and structured professional who can quickly assess complex situations, understand the impact of different decisions, and draw meaningful conclusions from large volumes of data. You are a confident communicator who enjoys bringing people together, facilitating discussions, and driving alignment among diverse stakeholders.

With strong presentation skills and a collaborative mindset, you build effective relationships across functions and create momentum in cross-functional initiatives. You are proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a dynamic international environment where coordination and stakeholder management are critical to success.

What you know

To be successful in this role, you bring a solid supply chain planning background combined with strong coordination and stakeholder management skills. We believe you have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience within supply chain, logistics, inventory planning, supply planning, or related areas.

  • Hands-on experience managing or actively participating in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.

  • Strong experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and facilitating meetings involving multiple functions and business areas.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly communicate insights and recommendations.

  • Experience working with forecasting, statistical analysis, planning data, and predictive analytics.

  • Project management experience and knowledge of Lean Six Sigma principles.

  • Experience using Power BI or similar Business Intelligence and analytics tools.

  • Familiarity with planning and ERP platforms such as Blue Yonder Luminate, Movex, and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365.

  • Experience from the spare parts business is considered an advantage.

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
